Frequently Asked Questions
What residential irrigation services does Eden provide?
Eden plans and installs irrigation for lawns, sod, planting beds, trees, palms, new landscapes and property renovations. Irrigation can also be coordinated with pavers, retaining walls and other outdoor improvements.
Is the initial irrigation consultation free?
Yes. Eden offers a free initial consultation to discuss the property, landscape plans, irrigation needs and an appropriate next step.
Can Eden assess existing irrigation during renovations?
Yes. When irrigation is part of a broader landscape project, Eden can evaluate how the existing layout relates to the proposed lawn, plants, beds and hardscapes. Any recommended changes will depend on site conditions and project scope.
How are irrigation areas determined?
The plan may consider plant type, lawn areas, sun exposure, bed locations, property layout and the placement of hardscapes or outdoor features. The goal is to organize areas around the landscape rather than treat the entire property identically.
Should lawns and planting beds be watered the same way?
Not necessarily. Lawns and planting beds can have different requirements based on their plant material, soil conditions, exposure and installation. Planning them as distinct areas can provide more appropriate control over the watering schedule.
Can irrigation support newly installed palms and trees?
Yes. Trees and palms can be included in the irrigation plan based on their type, size, and location.
Can irrigation be coordinated with pavers and hardscapes?
Yes. Irrigation planning can be coordinated with driveways, patios, walkways, pool decks, retaining walls and other hardscapes so the installation sequence and finished layout work together.
Will my irrigation schedule need to follow local watering restrictions?
Yes. Irrigation schedules must comply with applicable local watering restrictions.
How much does residential irrigation installation cost?
Pricing depends on the property size, landscape layout, number of irrigation areas, existing conditions, selected components and coordination with other work. After the consultation and site review, Eden can prepare a proposal for the specific project.
Which areas do you serve?
Eden provides residential irrigation installation throughout Pinellas County, with a primary focus on Clearwater, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor, Largo and Oldsmar.
